Senior Social Worker – Intake and Early Assessment

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker who is passionate about making timely, informed decisions that have a positive impact on children's lives from the very first point of contact.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in managing complex referrals, providing high-quality assessments, and supporting Social Workers and Support Workers through reflective supervision. You will work alongside a highly skilled multi-agency network, building strong partnerships to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.

This role is ideal for a motivated practitioner seeking to further develop their leadership skills while remaining directly involved in meaningful practice. You will be joining a service that values professional judgement, celebrates achievements, and is committed to creating the best possible outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

Working within Intake and Early Assessment provides a unique opportunity to identify risks, recognise strengths, and support families at the earliest opportunity. You will be at the forefront of safeguarding and early intervention, helping to ensure children receive the right support when they need it most, while contributing to a culture of high-quality, child-centred practice across the service.
