Why Join Our Team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Learning Department as an LMS Operations Support Officer, a varied and rewarding role at the heart of supporting schools, education services, and financial operations across the local authority.
Working within a friendly and experienced team, you will play a key role in ensuring schools receive high-quality financial and administrative support. From administering funding schemes and grant claims to managing school meals processes, supporting compliance with the Fair Funding Scheme, and contributing to budget monitoring and reporting.
This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in school funding, financial administration, grant management, and education service delivery. You will work with headteachers, school staff, auditors, and a wide range of internal services, building strong professional relationships while making a direct contribution to the effective management of education resources.
We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering accurate, customer-focused services. In return, you'll benefit from a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to gain valuable experience in a role that combines finance, administration, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Based at the Civic Centre with hybrid working arrangements, this position offers a balance of flexibility, responsibility, and meaningful work that directly supports schools and learners across the county borough. If you are motivated, organised, and looking to develop your career in a challenging and rewarding environment, we would welcome your application.
