The Governing Body of Pantysgallog Primary School are excited to offer an opportunity for a dynamic professional to join the Senior Leadership Team on a permanent basis from 1st September 2026.

The first half term will be spent work alongside the current ALNCo as part of a hand-over process.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Additional Learning Needs throughout the school with no teaching commitment. The post is for three days per week only.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, enthusiastic, and committed practitioner who:

• demonstrates a high aptitude and knowledge of the Additional Learning Needs transformation and code of working practices in Wales
• can effectively lead ALN throughout the school and review the guidance, support and strategies employed to meet the needs of pupils with Additional Learning Needs
• can work well in a team and independently, demonstrating strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• able to communicate pupil progress, building good relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community
• has proven experience of creating a supportive and well-ordered environment for learners to ensure pupils are able to access the support they require from school and external agencies.
