This is an excellent opportunity to join the Legal Services Department at Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council as a Paralegal, supporting the delivery of high-quality legal services across a diverse range of local government functions.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced solicitors and legal professionals, contributing to matters that have a direct impact on the Council, its services and the wider community. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload, providing valuable experience across a broad spectrum of legal work, including litigation, regulatory and enforcement matters, governance, contracts and advisory work.

As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will assist in managing legal cases and projects, undertaking legal research, preparing documentation and liaising with clients, counsel, courts and external organisations. The breadth of work available provides an excellent foundation for developing legal knowledge and practical skills within a professional local government environment.
