Children Looked After Team
Our Children Looked After Team is here to support children and young people who, for different reasons, can’t live with their birth parents. We’re here to help you feel safe, listened to, and supported to achieve your goals and live your best life.
Sometimes, things happen that mean you can’t live at home. That’s not your fault. When this happens, you become a “child looked after” – and that means you are at the heart of everything we do. We’ll make sure your voice is heard and that you get the help you need.
We know that having a safe and caring place to live can make a big difference. Our team works closely with family members ,foster carers, and other professionals to help you feel secure, happy, and supported. We want you to feel confident about your future.
If you are looked after, you’ll have your own social worker, they are there for you – to listen, to support, and to make sure your care plan is built around you. Your social worker will visit you regularly, get to know you, and help you understand what’s happening and what might come next. If you ever need extra help, we’ll work with other people and services to make sure you get it.
We work with children and young people from birth up to 16 years old. Our goal is to keep you safe, help you grow, and make sure decisions are made with your best interests in mind.
