Meet Your Family Support Team

We’re here to help children, young people, and families when things feel a bit tough or when you just need some extra support.

Our team works with families over a longer period of time, so we can really get to know you and understand what matters most. If an assessment shows that your family could use some ongoing help, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

Once you're working with us, your child will be linked with a dedicated social worker or family support worker. They’ll be your go-to person—someone you can talk to, ask questions, and get advice from whenever you need it. They’ll work closely with you and your family to make sure you always know who to turn to if you’re unsure or worried about anything.

We also team up with other professionals—like teachers, health visitors, and community services—to make sure you’ve got the right support in place. Sometimes families work with us because there are concerns about a child’s safety, and other times it’s just about getting help with everyday challenges. Our goal is to work with you, not for you. We want to build on the strengths your family already has and help you reach the best outcomes for your children and young people.

In some cases, we might need to involve the court to help keep children safe. If that happens, we’ll explain everything clearly and be there to support you through the process.

Most importantly, we’re here to listen, help, and work alongside you—so your family can feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
