To deliver a quality service to the most vulnerable families in the area, utilising evidence based programmes in order to encourage and promote more effective parenting thus reducing the likelihood of harm to children and young people.

The work could include areas such as Healthy Relationships, Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Substance Misuse, Parenting Skills and Routines and Boundaries. Support will be directed by the allocated Social Worker and discussed with the family/carers.

As an Out of Hours service, we also provide crisis intervention where a family need urgent assistance to ensure that issues that need immediate attention are managed and the family situation is stabilised. When working as Out of Hours we liaise with EDT and the Police when required to do so if any safeguarding concerns arise.
