Speciality:
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS.
To work as a proactive member of the waste management team developing and implementing sustainable waste management initiatives throughout Merthyr Tydfil that will assist in achieving waste related targets.
To deliver waste management projects adhering to council policy and service requirements
To constantly adapt priority areas of work to comply with legislative changes and Authority service changes.
Work towards improving participation in all current recycling schemes using innovative methods of work
Work towards continuously improving established recycling projects.
Work towards achieving high levels of performance against legislative and service delivery targets
To promote waste minimisation/recycling/composting via education, persuasion and enforcement.
