Reporting Highways Issues
Use this service to report a general highways problem.
When reporting a Highways issue please give as much information on the type of problem and location of the incident to help us deal with the problem.
Please note that there are online forms available to report:
- Blocked Drains
- Potholes
- Damaged Traffic Lights
- Overgrown Vegetation, Trees and Hedges
- Missing or Damaged Manhole or Gulley Covers
- Missing or damaged Street Nameplates
- Missing or damaged Road Signs
- Request a Grit Bin or Gritting of your road
If your issue is concerning vehicles obstructing the highway, it should initially be directed to South Wales Police by contacting 101
PLEASE NOTE: the authority does not maintain the trunk roads A470, A4060 and A465 (Heads of the Valleys Road) or M4. These roads are the responsibility of the South Wales Trunk Road Agent and problems should be reported directly to them by phone on 0300 123 1213
