50+ Forum And Events

How do I get Involved?

Merthyr Tydfil 50+ Forum meet to share information of interest to Older People. Previous subjects have included the Old Town Hall project, The New Health Park, Community Cohesion and Extra Care.

Being a member of the forum provides you with the opportunity to be involved and comment on important issues in the community such as the council’s budget and the South Wales Police service. You will also receive information on different events occurring in the borough.

If you sign up to be part of the 50+ forum there is no requirement for you to attend every event or comment on every issue sent to you. You can be as involved as you want, but you will at least have the opportunity and the knowledge to make that decision.
