Job: Cynorthwyydd Taliadau Credydwyr / Creditor Payments Assistant

32.5 Hours = 87.83% = £22,470 – £24,338 per annum
To assist in the day to day running of the Creditors Payments Section to ensure correct payments made to Suppliers.
The principal accountabilities of the post are to:
• assist in the input of invoices from all Departments within the authority;
• set up, and maintain, details of suppliers within the accounts payable system;
• provide support to other service areas regarding queries, training etc;
• assist in training those who may require access to the accounts payable system;
• check and monitor supplier statements;
• answer queries regarding the payment of invoices to suppliers;
• check contractor payments for the administration of sub-contractor’s tax;
• verify self-employment status checks, including providing assistance to other service areas; and
• undertake general office duties, such a filing, photocopying etc.
• To assist staff with regard the status payments within the P2P system
• Payment of invoices by P-Card and Lodge Card through the BSM system
• To carry out Health & Safety responsibilities in accordance with the Authority’s Health & Safety policies
• To carry out any other duties commensurate with the grade as
reasonably requested by the manager.
• To comply with the Councils decarbonisation requirements to achieve net zero carbon emissions
