What is a social worker and what do they do?
Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and Intake and Early Assessment
The role within the Children’s Services department within the MASH, is to consider all safeguarding referrals received from a number of different sources. The Intake and Early Assessment Team provide assessment and signposting to ensure families receive the right level of support.

Support to children looked after, social workers, schools and carers to ensure that all children and young people in care have access to a good quality, appropriate education
16 Plus Team
Working with young people aged 16+ who are care experienced, young people in need of care and support, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, and young people aged 16+ who live with a special guardian.
